The Dublin County Board Gents Strokeplays take place this weekend in Shandon P&P As car parking spots are limited, we ask as many players as possible from the same club to car pool just to save any potential issues.
As we seen last week in the Shandon Scratch Cup, the course is in fine condition and as always is a tricky course and it will be a trio of well deserved Champions after this weekend.
We remind players in our Inter County Trials that this will be a trial for all our Gents teams and they will be updated after the weekend

The Portmarnock Pitch and Putt Club hosts this year’s Dublin County Board Ladies Strokeplay’s on Saturday the 14th of JuneOut first, the Senior Ladies will do battle as 10 players try to wrestle the trophy off Ger Ward on her home patch!
After the Seniors, another Portmarnock Lady is looking to retain her title as Irene Reid won so convincingly in Loughlinstown last year, could her & Ger make it a double double for the hosts.
The Juniors Ladies will be last but no means least, as the biggest supported grade of the whole weekend including the gents, with 24 of the 51 from the host club, you won’t be getting much of a price on a home town hat-trick!Great to see so many entries on what should be an extremely enjoyable day on one of Irelands premier courses.
